Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said the Senate elections could be held in between 12th February to 12th March.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the government has decided to go to the Supreme Court to hold open ballot election in the Senate.
The Minister said the Pakistan Peoples Party had requested the Election Commission of Pakistan to hold bye elections on vacant seats.
The Minister said the Prime Minister wants to hold accountable those who looted the national wealth ruthlessly.
