Information Minister Chaudhary Fawad Hussain says Radio Pakistan is broadcasting news and current affairs and other programmes in national, international and local languages, which makes it prominent among other broadcasting institutions.
In a statement today, he said the government believes in promotion and encouragement of local languages in the country. Welcoming the initiative of program series in Balochi language from Radio Pakistan Multan Station, he said it is a gift of National Radio for those who speak and understand Balochi language.
He said Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar will soon inaugurate the Program Series in Balochi Language.
