Rawalpindi – High-Security Event – Traffic Plan – 4th Feb to 8th Feb:
Blocked Routes:
Stadium Road from 9th Avenue Chowk to Double Road for both sides traffic will remain closed from 0600hrs to 1800hrs.
Alternate Routes:
1- Traffic moving from Chandni Chowk to Stadium Road will be diverted from Double Road U-Turn to Faizabad via IJP road.
2- Traffic coming from IJP road to Stadium Road will be diverted from 9th Avenue Chowk to Pindora and Saidpur
3- Traffic coming from Islamabad to Rawalpindi will be diverted from slip Expressway before Faizabad Bridge to Expressway from where traffic can move to Soan Interchange, Khanna and Koral to enter Rawalpindi
4- Traffic moving from Rawalpindi to Faizabad/Islamabad will be diverted from 6th Road Chowk via 6th Road, Saddiqui Chowk, Saidpur Road
5- Traffic entering Rawalpindi, from Islamabad, IJP and 9th Avenue will be diverted to to Pindora Chungi, Katarian, Carriage Factory, Chak Madad and Pir Wadhai Turn.
