Prime Minister Imran Khan launched Ehsaas undergraduate Scholarship program on Monday.
It is the largest ever need based undergraduate program in the history of Pakistan.
Under this program, two hundred thousand scholarships will be awarded over the next four years.
Fifty percent of these scholarships will go to women to promote human capital development under the umbrella of Ehsaas program.
In her tweet, Special Assistant on Social Protection & Poverty Alleviation Sania Nishtar said the PTI government is committed to promoting financial access to education and offers an equal opportunity to women.
