Pakistan rejects fake news by Indian magazine ‘Firstpost’

Pakistan has categorically rejected the fake and misleading news by Indian magazine the Firstpost regarding some agreement between Pakistan military and the US and Israeli intelligence agencies.

Debunking the Indian concoction, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting emphatically clarified that Pakistan has never recognized Israel, nor has there been any discussion on any kind of military deployment.

The Ministry termed it ridiculous piece of reporting by Indian media and reiterated Pakistan’s policy stance in support of Palestinian peoples’ right to self-determination.

It made clear that neither the Public Relations Department of Pakistan Army-the ISPR nor the Foreign Office has supported or announced any Pakistani military mission in Gaza.

The Ministry maintained that the Firstpost violated journalistic principles by picking sentences out of context, from a private newspaper and propagating it as ‘intelligence leaks’.

It mentioned that references quoted by the Firstpost are from a media outlet which has published unverified information in the past.

The Indian magazine the Firstpost had made fabricated and baseless claim that Pakistani military has entered into some agreement with US intelligence agency CIA ad Israeli agency Mossad.

It also contended that Pakistan will send 20,000 soldiers to Gaza under the agreement.
