No change of foreign policy towards Israel: President. November 08, 2018

President Dr Arif Alvi has refuted the apprehensions about any possibility to roll back the 18th Constitutional Amendment.

In an interview with a private news channel, the President categorically dismissed the fears over the 18th Amendment.

He also strongly negated the impression about possibility of change of foreign policy towards Israel.

He said the Saudi package has eased balance of payment issue, besides oil supply on deferred payments, Saudi interest in setting up an oil refinery and mineral exploration in Reko Diq are vital outcomes of the Prime Minister’s visit.

To a question about the National Action Plan, the President lauded the role of the armed forces in improving the security situation in the country, including Karachi.

The President also alluded to the ongoing Indian atrocities against the innocent Kashmiris in the occupied Kashmir.

To a question, Dr. Arif Alvi said that unity of Ummah is of more significance for Pakistan and it will continue to play its impartial role for bringing peace in the region.

Dr Alvi said Pakistan enjoys good neighbourly and friendly ties with Iran and Turkey.
