Parliamentary Secretary for Railways Mian Farrukh Habib says a new Railway system is being introduced in Pakistan because Railways is the backbone of the national economy.
Talking to media at Quetta Railway Station, he said railway is a strategic asset and steps were needed to improve its working.
The parliamentary secretary said visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to China would bring positive results for the country.
He said during the visit, the prime minister focused on railway and agriculture sectors.
He said China-Pak Economic Corridor would start a new journey of development in the country including Balochistan.
Farukh Habib said government took adequate steps to mitigate concerns of Balochistan.
