Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Hussain Chaudhry has said the government plans to make Radio Pakistan a vibrant media organization.
He was talking to the Controllers of Radio Pakistan’s Central News Organization in Islamabad today.
Fawad Chaudhry appreciated the role of Radio Pakistan and said that efforts would be made to further strengthen the organization.
He said special steps would be taken for capacity building of Radio Pakistan employees and providing them with state of the art equipment.
The Minister emphasized that for the sake of optimum performance, the state media organizations, including Radio Pakistan, PTV and APP should work in tandum with each other.
He said the extra land of Radio Pakistan will be utilized for resolving residential problem of the staff of the organization.
Fawad Chaudhry said problems of all units of Radio Pakistan, including that relating to provision of health facility, would be resolved on priority basis.
