In the ICC Men’s T-20 World Cup, Australia beat Ireland by 42 runs in Brisbane on Monday.
Batting first, Australia scored 179 runs for the loss of five wickets in stipulated 20 overs.
In reply, Ireland were all out at 137 runs.
Aaron Finch of Australia was declared player of the match.
Meanwhile, Pakistan will play its next match against South Africa on Thursday.
