ACP Pradyuman, one of the most iconic characters f

ACP Pradyuman, one of the most iconic characters from the hit crime-action Indian TV show CID (Crime Investigation Department), has been killed.

The character, played by veteran actor Shivaji Satam, was known for his no-nonsense attitude and strict nature. Part of the original CID cast, his catchphrases "Daya, Darwaza Tod Do (Daya, Break The Door Open)" and "Tumhe Toh Phaansi Hi Hogi (You will surely get the death sentence)" are hit among the audiences.

It is pertinent to mention that reports of ACP Pradyuman's demise were already making rounds. Sony Entertainment Television, which airs CID, has confirmed Pradyuman's death on their social media accounts. His death marks the end of an era.

Satam, in an interview, had mentioned that he is taking a break from the show and is at peace with the writers' decision.
