Prime Minister Imran Khan has invited Qatari investment in all sectors of Pakistan’s economy, especially in agriculture, livestock and energy.
He was talking to Qatar’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani who called on him in Islamabad.
The Prime Minister expressed the hope for early implementation of Qatar’s decision to import one hundred thousand workers from Pakistan.
Expressing satisfaction on increase in Pakistan’s exports to Qatar, the Prime Minister said bilateral trade will further expand in the coming years.
Sheikh Mohammad Bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani assured the Prime Minister his country’s full support and cooperation in attaining the dream of a progressive, prosperous and forward looking Pakistan.
He also conveyed felicitations and best wishes of Amir of Qatar, on his elections and his keen desire to work with the new leadership in Pakistan for further strengthening close and cordial relations between the two countries.

Meanwhile, Qatari Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammad Bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, also called on his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Islamabad.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi on the occasion offered services of Pakistani professional workforce to Qatar for preparations of 2022 FIFA World Cup to be held in that country.
He also highlighted the huge potential for bilateral cooperation in energy, petroleum and petrochemical, agriculture and livestock sectors.
